Hello everyone.
I'm currently working on a membership site. I'm deciding what subscription models to offer.
I know I want to offer a 1-month recurring subscription. I also want to offer one other subscription option that gives a discount for paying for a several months in advance.
Do any of you have experience with testing 3-month, 6-month or 1-year subscription models? Does one work better than another?
Thanks,

Hey Jason,
I've done *some* testing with it...not extensive enough to draw major conclusions.
BUT, when i did it ran the 1 year subscription at a discounted price. 6 month at a smaller of a discount.
And then 1 month was the highest.
It DID convert more traffic tell you the truth than how I had it set up before.
But here's the deal...I didn't advertise it as a monthly subscription. It was advertised as a 1-year membership. SO when they got the option to pay less and "Test-drive" things for a month a lot joined that wouldn't of otherwise.
It also allowed for a solid No-Refund policy which is against most rules...but essentially it got people to join at the 1 month rate just to see if they liked the site.
Then when they where in love with it they just ended up paying more than they should of.
Then I should note: on the 2nd membership offer they received they all jumped at the 1 year option instead.
But do your own testing, there's really no way to tell in a market without testing.
