Well it's the off topic section, so I thought I'd share a little
story that took place a couple of weeks ago.
If you ever have a chance to see John Reese surfing, it's
quickly no wonder John is successful in his businesses.
Surfing has to be one of the hardest things I've ever done
in my entire life. You get brutally beat down, smashed by
waves, and risk the chance of getting eaten by sharks or
having a surfboard smack you in your face.
By the way, Frank Kern's board drilled John in the gut, and
my lip the week before.
However, John jumped right back up on his surfboard and started
catching more waves.
Most people have to go surfing at least 5 or 6 times or more before
they ever really get a chance to ride a good wave. John was
not willing to wait that long.
His determination was fierce, and his stamina was amazing.
If your not conditioned to swimming in the ocean, it is near
impossible to surf for longer then 1 hour. Somehow John
and Frank were able to go for 3 - 4 hours and loving every
bit of it.
It was easy to see why John is successful at anything he puts
his mind to. He doesn't give up. He keeps ferociously trying,
even when he's getting beat down.
I watched him take some spills that would of easily had most
people sidelined. It was really impressive.
A few days later John, Frank and his wife, and Alison and I decided
to go snorkeling in La Jolla as the surf wasn't all that great on
this given day.
We planned on seeing little fish like Sea Bass, Corbina, Girabaldi,
Lobster, Stingrays, and stuff like that.
However we ended up swimming right into a school of sharks.
There were 2 kinds of sharks...
1. Sand Sharks
2. Leopard Sharks.
The sand sharks were not very intimidating as they pretty much
just hang on the bottom of the ocean. It was the Leopard Sharks
that were a bit scary.
The biggest one I saw was only about 5 feet long, but I'll tell
you that it looked huge when surrounded by 5 different sharks
at the time.
When we first encountered the sharks John and I were trying
to stay together. It was pretty *beep* scary, especially if you
are off by yourself.
After about 10 minutes of swimming among the sharks, the
nerves settled down.
Then John goes crazy and starts trying to touch the sharks.
He kept saying... "Watch this" and would dive down chasing
after the sharks.
Balls of Steel I tell ya.
Anyways, it was a blast surfing and snorkeling among the
sharks.
Watching John's "Go Get Em" attitude made it pretty obvious
why he has succeeded online.
If you spent as much time as he has online, and had half the
work ethic he does, your set for life. It's just a matter of time,
testing, and practice.
Practice really does make perfect, and it sure was fun to practice
surfing and life threatening snorkel moves with John.
Here's to the sharks!!!!! _________________ JasonMoffatt.com

While I admire John's courage, you can't pull a fast one over me. My kids are absolute nuts over sea creatures and sharks are among their favorites. Leopard sharks really aren't generally dangerous to humans:

(Note: As the article indicates, unless someone was bothering them!!)
But ha ha...you wouldn't see me touch one. I couldn't even touch the rays that had their stingers removed at Sea World!
Still, if we could see John pestering some Great White's, then we could be really impressed. Can that be arranged?
