|
|
I'm just looking for a bit of feedback from anyone using webinar services. I've attended a handful myself and found them useful... from a host perspective though, does anyone have experiences (pros and cons) to share?
Also, I've read up on a few such as Live Meeting, WebEx and GoToMeeting. GoToMeeting seems the best way to go but I think I just read that it's $49 monthly for a maximum of 10 attendees. Can this be accurate? That seems a bit ridiculous. I certainly expect 20-30 from day 1 and growing to over 40 or 50+ within a few short months.
Any suggestions/thoughts on all this are appreciated.

Rob,
I put on webinars every week on my membership site. I use Protalker.
It is a great software and Dennis Gerik, the guy who owns it, is a great guy too. The cost is great for what you can do with the software
Take look at the software by going to protalker dot com for a look. Dennis is a really reasonable guy. You can tell him I responded to a thread in John Reeses forum to tell you about it if you want to talk to him.
Good luck, _________________ DAVID C SKUL

So far I have found that Hotcomm is the best service for the money. Some of the others are ridiculously expensive especially if you intend to have very many people attend the webinars. Yes, GotoMeeting is fine if you only want 10 people. Even then it is a bit clunky and unstable and did not integrate audio at the time I tested it. Most of the ones I have found are too expensive if you intend to do any serious web conference events.
Hotcomm is a high quality service AND is priced to make webinar events a profitable business with reasonable cost to the attendees.

Although I have not used it personally, gotomeeting seems to be a good service. I have attended a few webinars run through this service and I know people who have been using it have had a good experience. Hope this might be of help. _________________ Josh A. Schoenly
