John I recall you mentioning that you were about to release tracking software.
I believe you called it Maxprofit.
Any estimates on when you'll be bringing it to market? |

Hi Bob,
MaxProfit is still in development. We keep adding so many features to it it's delaying the release for it. We are also working on a MAJOR addition to the software (I can't say what it is yet or competitors will try and get them jump on us).. but I will say it will "manage" something that no other software out there right now will. Sorry for being so vague about it.
We are realistically looking at a late April/early May release for it. We have a lot of "lab testing" to do on the software before we can release it.
Thanks for your interest!

Hi John,
1. Will your software product be hosted (ASP), or will it run locally?
2. Can you hint at the price point(s)?
Thanks.

Hi Wendy,
The product will be software that YOU own.
I have not yet made a decision on the pricing. It is not just "software" but will also contain a training system and video tutorials.
Stay tuned!

Is this project still underway by any chance?
I went to the link in his workbook regarding tracking and it takes you to http://www.clickalyzer.com/
Any thoughts on this one? |

I joined Clickalyzer just recently. But the interface didn't look as it did in the demo video.
I tried to contact them about this, by email, contact form AND phone, and was unsuccessful.
Anyway, couldn't afford to waste time, so I went with Hypertracker - it rocks!
Yeah sure, it's a monthly expense. But you get what you pay for... |

Hey - I don't know where I heard about it - I've been doing so much research and studying lately, but I just found http://www.clicktracks.com and it looks promising. Anyone have any opinions on this one?
Thanks!

Clicktracks looks interesting, but might not be very cost effective.
I can't see an option in their current model for somone running 100 websites each making $100 per month unless you do it somehow saying you run multiple ISPs.
I am not sure I would want to pay even $10 per month on tracking per website.
No mention of tracking traffic throughout your own network of sites. _________________ Andy Beard - Niche Marketing

I recall John Reese saying in his latest email that he is once again working on his tracking software. I think that's what I read anyway.
Maybe he'll see this thread and let us know. _________________ ~Bob |

YES. My MaxProfit software is in the final stages of development. It's the same application I've used to manage ALL of my own Internet ventures. It's taking some time to port it to a "portable" product version -- since it's been in development on multiple servers of mine during the past 5+ years.
Stay tuned. |

Well I'll sit tight and wait for your software then John. I love the fact that I'll be able to track my PPC campaigns along with my other Internet ventures. _________________ ~Bob |

John do you know of something crude that can just track traffic being funneled from a mininet without losing backlinks?
I am saving my money for the right solution (maybe yours, maybe Simon's), but I need a stop-gap for a project that is launching now (goes live 6th Nov). I need to be able to analyse traffic flow, and later on be able to demonstrate how it worked.
Whilst this group project has been fairly fast track, I have been searching for a solution for months. _________________ Andy Beard - Niche Marketing
