Michael, your post doesn't say. Do you use liquidweb? If yes, do you know how knowledgeable and responsive they are with their dedicated managed server accounts?

Personally I used to love Liquidweb.com, recent months I have been less than happy with them. I will not post any specific issues but feel free to PM me with further questions.
Right now if I had to recommend a hosting company for a dedicated server it would have to be HostDime.com they are an awesome company and the support response times are amazing. Running a web hosting company I need a company that will respond when "hands on" help is needs IE quick hardware replacement etc... They are top notch and #1 in my book when you take price, quality and support into consideration.

I highly recommend ServerBeach.com (self managed)
I've been using them for a very long time. They offer good price + they have excellent community where you can get help.

Do not use Liquid Web. I stayed with them a few months ago with a VPS account an its customer service was lack of kindness and didn´t take care of my site. My site was down too much times without advice from them.
Yes, my site received tons of unexpected traffic, but they prefered to shut down my site instead of either talk to me or find a way to not shut down my site, loosing me money.
I left them and purchased a Dual Opteron Dedicated server with http://www.servstra.com
Less expensive and very responsive customer service. I have about 6 months with them and very satisfyed with the load time. I experienced a few issues on the beginning, no email was able to send from PHPBB board and postcard service, due to purchasing a security package from Servstra wich prevented from sending any email from my site.
I talked to them and solved the issue right away, so I do not recommend you purchase any of its security plans.
Overall, very satysfied with the service and pricing. They are resellers of layeredtech.com, but who cares? They sell less expensive than layeredtech and solve very quickly any problem you may experience.
Even from sales process, Servstra will answer your cuestions very quickly. I´m so upset with Liquidweb service, that decided to share my experience, while reading some of the posts of John Reese´s forum, but I will participate also in other topics on the future.
