Paul, you've got the RIGHT attitude.
You are going to kick cancer right in it's ASS. These things happen for a reason. It's something you are going have to go through. Ive taken care of thousands of patients with cancer, and I'm a firm believer in the patient's mindset, has a lot to do with how fast they recover. I've surgically assisted on a patients with Whipple procedure so feel free to personally email me if you have any questions. It's a long procedure but the success rate is very high, especially as it sounds, you got to it jujst in time.
No fears my friend.
Having a successful internet business will now be a piece of cake.
My prayers are with ya,
Dr. Mike |

Paul...I know we're all pulling for you and we can't wait to have you back. I'll call the hospital on Thursday or Friday and let everyone know how you're doing.
Take are,

Paul,
It was such a shock to read your post. But I will be praying for you! Glad it was caught early. That's a reminder for everyone to get your yearly checkups so that things can be caught early on so that we can continue on with our plans in life. I know we put a lot of energy into our online business and this is a reminder to enjoy everything around us. We are truly blessed to have such a forum of like-minded people. (And thanks so much John for sharing your knowledge).
I am so glad Paul, that you have made a financial foundation to make this a little easier for you and your family.
Wishing you all the best and to a speedy recovery!

UPDATE:
I just called Paul's home and talked to (I believe) his daughter. She said his surgery went better than expected and he is doing fine. He's currently in ICU recovering.

I talked to Paul today and he's out of the ICU...and doing well. We only talked for a short while (poor guy just had his epidural removed), but he's still expected to go home late next week.
Can't wait to have you back, Paul!

Reading things like this makes it hit home to "make every day count", and especially with family. Best wishes - it's scary as heck to have medical problems, I've been through a bit myself. Here's to a speedy recovery!

I spoke to him on Saturday (as above). I imagine he will be home on Friday or Saturday. If you want his phone number, you can PM me, Earl.

That's really good news to hear that the surgery went well and Paul's leaving the hospital soon.
We will continue with our positive thoughts and I bet Paul will get out of this even stronger! (...and I know what I'm talking about...)

Although I have come to this thread later than rather than
sooner, my prayers and thoughts are with you Paul through out

You certainly have some brave and wise words to uplift the
spirit, I wish you a very very speedy recovery.
