Ghosts On Ebay

I just joined this forum and am amazed when I run across something someone comes up with that is just ingenius.

I am sure everyone has heard about the CNN story telling about how someone auctioned off their Grandpa's ghost on ebay and sold his cane and made thousands of dollars.

Well, I haven't actually seen that complete auction to see if it was for real. If it was......hooray for them!

But I just had to post what I did just find.

Go to ebay and do a search on completed auctions on the word ghost. I was amazed. One auction was a woman selling her grandpas cane and ghost (the second one of such) and her auction closed at only $20. However, she had over 4,000 hits on her auction. A college student was selling his Grandfathers jacket and tie (and his ghost) and he too only made a few measley bucks.....but had over 3,000 hits on his auction.

I have spent months reading how to drive people to your "About Me" page to get them to sign up for free newsletters so that you can then promote your ezines.......talk about ingenius.

I just can't stop laughing. But then, when I do....I'm just amazed at those numbers of hits.

Makes you wanna go "hummmmmm"

I think the quality of those hits would be poor, unless of course you have a niche that has to do with ghosts. Even then many of the people are just people intrigued by the auction and may not even be interested.
