I was somewhat familiar with them, but not enough to know their tunes by heart, or would I even recognize them if I heard.

However, I have been listening to some of their tunes in the last few days, and yes it is good stuff.

"The Hip" was even on CNN yesterday...

The Hip were on CNN. Wow! Great for them.

They were on Saturday Night Live once but it was to promote one of their not so great CD's so the song they played really didn't do them justice.

Now had I been on their marketing team : ) ....first time on US TV..... we'd have gone for a sure hit, even if that mean't a song from a previous CD

My favrite Hip CD is "Live Between Us" - It is Live, kind of a greatest hits CD.

There is a very rare Video of them. I searched and searched for it and found one about 10 months ago. Paid $80 for it. Yes I am a big Hip fan!

And so Michel I do prefer your old band. Really great though that you are expressing that side of your brillaince as well.
