I'm trying to think of an option for redirect links for someone who uses a site builder and doesn't have access to the things she needs to make redirects on her server. Is there any service like Tiny URL that allows you to see clickthroughs on your links?
Much thanks.

Hi Alice,
I used http://shorturl.com before and they
have start reporting. This service was free
before but now there's $1 fee to use the
stat reporting.
I also used http://trackme.biz and it has
also good stat reporting. This service is
free and I like it.

Hi Alice,
I use http://active.ws right now. They create some good URLs and they provide reporting for 14 days for free. You can also create an unlimited amount of URLs, also for free. _________________ Roosevelt Cooper

Hey Alice -- ShrinkMyLink is another such service. If you signup for their free account, you can track clickthrough counts on the URL's. _________________

Hi Paul..nice to see you here. I actually wasn't looking for the redirects for me, but for someone who can't do redirects on her own server. She uses a site builder that doesn't allow it.
I am confused by your suggestion though, which seems even more complicated. If I was already doing a redirect, why would I even need a tinyurl? Are you trying to trick me into doing more work?

Hello Alice,
I wanted to let you know about a simple product I use
that does the tracking as well as manage my lists.
It also looks after confirms, removes and bounces.
This product is so good that I wouldn't run a site without
it. Really.
The best thing about it is that YOU don't have to pay
monthly. IT's a one time charge and that's it!
You own it and can use it on as many web sites as you
own.
I manage large lists so reliability is paramount.
I can create a new signup form in seconds place it
on one of my sites like www.santas.com/grinch/fothefuture.com
and start collecting instant sign ups voila.
The admin section lets me manage all my members and create
auto mailings to go out at certain times automatically.
I can manage it from any internet connected computer.
The nice thing is I use it to track what sentences or buy
triggers on a sales page to see which one is really bring me
the business.
Here is the link for you to get your own demo and find out
for yourself.
http://www.statusbaralert.com/mail/link.php?id=575dcc9listmail
Yes I am tracking with it
There is also a resellers program and if you purchase it like I
believe you will i'll make 50%
Remember this .
1. It works
2. You don't have to keep paying month after month to use it. _________________ God Bless Richard Driver

Just a warning about using third party tracking service. I did use a free tracking service previously which is great which provide me a great stat. However, due to some spammers abuse the service, the site have been shut down a few time by their hosting company. And the owner finally give up and stop the service. This making all my tracking links stop working for me. So I would suggest install your own tracking script instead of using others. At least it is within your control.

ToonChoi makes a good point. That's part of the reason our service isn't free (that and we need to make money ) We've been lucky enough not to attract many spammers, probably because it's not free and we have a strong TOS. We did have one early on, but we put in some controls to prevent redirection to common spammer domains (e.g. .ru) and he/she/it stopped using it.

Hello Alice,
I am surprised with all this advice for a simple challenge. Use the tracking available in your auto responder service. Most goods ones has this option available in them. You simply create one for your email campaign and one you use for posting. Works well for me.
If your AR doesn't do this then you should change services. One that I highly recommend is http://profitstreams.biz/?1008 of course there are many to choose from. _________________ Jim Allen III
