Hi folks!
I'm new to the board and I've only learned of John Reese in the last week. He seems like a genuine fellow and I expect to learn a lot from his techniques. I have not purchased his Traffic Secrets course yet, but it's on the list.
One of the resources he has listed is a program call "Directory Generator". Would anyone here like to offer some feedback on that program? I have tried looking into as far as I can without actually purchasing the software. It appears to create nice looking directories based on your keywords, but isn't it more important to have sites linking back to you? How does it handle link reciprocity?
I have been using a different program called Zeus for the past few months to create a link exchange directory with some success (went from PR0 to PR3 in three months), but Zeus is very cumbersome and seriously needs an interface upgrade. One of the impressive things that it does well is search sites in your keyword genre for potential link partners (as opposed to reading from a database).
Thanks for any feedback! _________________ Roger Hutchison

Hello Michael,
Thanks for the resource.
What I would like to see are examples and experiences with software like "Directory Generator" or rssgm.
The final link where I found rssgm makes suspect the black hat (vs white hat) nature of generating hundreds of pages using automation software like this.
Any thoughts? _________________ Roger Hutchison

My opinion on these programs is they are past their time. They used to work well, still can work well if done right but it just isn't worth the hassle anymore.
