Hi Everyone,
I have some products, which I think are really fantastic and I also get quite a lot of click-throughs, but (nearly)no sales.
I few things I'm tending to do now are:
* I focus only on a "handful" of top affiliate products instead of promoting tons of different products.
* I verify the demand for a specific product – mostly I check the ranking in clickbank for products that are appropriate for my niche.
* Sales copy & design of sales page – I'm not 100% sure, but I get the feeling that sales letters with weak graphics (header, cover, product boxes…) just don't convert very well.
* Competition – I try to stay away from products which are heavily promoted by a huge number of affiliates. Do you know any reliable ways of checking out the density of your competition? One thing I do is to look at Google & Google AdWords to get a basic idea for the competition.
These little "tricks" definitely improved my results, but I'm sure there's more… Any ideas?
Thanks.

One thing I know a few of the top affiliates do (who shall remain nameless, to protect their privacy), is offer additional bonuses in exchange for any sales purchased through their link.
For example, if you're promoting a higher ticket item of which you are quite familiar, perhaps you'll offer an exclusive 15-30 min. phone consultation on how to best use the product, for anyone who purchases through your link. I did this when I promoted www.InstantVideo.info; that is, anyone who purchased through my link got a phone consultation with me on the best ways to use this new technology, that have worked for me. Since I believed in the product so much, my passion came through, and made for a great consultation, and created stickiness for the product.
Perhaps you can come up with something similiar - don't just think outside the box...throw away the box! - DJ Dave _________________ It's back......

Another highly potent strategy is to create your own viral eBook which highlights the issues that your affiliate product addresses. The advantages of this method:
1. You can promote one or several of your affiliate products in the same eBook (as long as they are in the same broad area). Plus, you can add in the link to your own opt in newsletter form - this has the added benefit of building your list while you promote the affiliate product.
2. You can issue free distribution rights with this method (allow people to give it away to their own subscribers/website viewers). This produces a very strong viral effect and helps you make sales of your product plus get you subscribers all on autopilot and practically for free.
In case you need any help in producing an eBook then check out my signature link - it includes a free info-product creation toolkit for you.
Hope this helps, in case you need any further info please don't hesitate to contact me.

I love introducing viral elements. I invent tools and have nice programmers at hand, that is why making some techy viral gadget in the tool is never a problem.
But even a simple viral PDF rebranded info with automatic integration of affiliate links is great. And to get this one working you don't need to be much of a programmer. _________________ Lost HOPE in link building?
