Ok, I'm a little confused about what keyword tools to be using. Keyword Companion, Keyword Elite, Adword Analyzer, etc, etc?

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I love goodkeywords, they are reliable, and best of all.
FREE

But you know these days, keywords are not as important
as they used to be.

Other things like link popularity and content are more
crucial to SEO.

So don't spend too much time on your keywords.
Just get them set up and go.

You'd be better off using goodkeywords for AdWords
advertisements. That will pay off for sure!

Cheers,

Robert Choi

Go to wordtracker.com or the overture suggestion tool to find the most popular words and phrases that suit the theme of your web site.

But without keywords, you don't get traffic. You have to rank well for what people are searching for. The content and link-building is done around the keywords.

I like the Google Adwords tool. It has lots of great features. They don't give search numbers, but you can see the popularity of the phrase in search and how competitive it is in Adwords. You can also get some related suggestions and even enter your URL in for suggestions on keywords.

In my opinion:

Any place you can easily get free keywords is worth just what you are paying. Think about it... millions use the free sources. That means you are competing with millions for those words.

To be successful you must find words on the fringes that are not apparent to the ordinary web marketer. That takes thinking and digging.

If you really want to capture a market take a look at themezoom.com.

I was right once before and this could be the second time...
